A Snowball Named Reuters
Tuesday, August 11, 2015, was quite the day for Oath Keepers. On Monday the 10th, four of our members had served as body guards at Ferguson, Missouri, for a news crew from InfoWars dot com. The whole of the Oath Keepers organization did not pile in and clog the streets. Only four Oath Keepers were working that detail, as a favor to journalists who were concerned about their safety.
I say, “only four”, just to denote that the organization did not muster forces for another security detail. The four were acting locally, at the request of InfoWars, and were doing so because there had already been trouble for some journalists in Ferguson. I say, “only four”, but that is not to understate the highly professional work our four Oath Keepers did there. Oath Keepers national is proud of the quiet professionalism, cool-headed methodology, and expert deportment of those four Missouri Oath Keepers.
Led by Sam Andrews, these brave men carried out their mission, and the journalists they were guarding were kept safe in the midst of yet another Ferguson, Missouri riot. At the core of Sam’s and his pals’ mission were journalists, so let’s talk a bit about journalism in America. I would like to share something from the U.S. Congressional Record of February 9, 1917, page 2947. One may search for this quite easily and bring up many results, but I like the simplicity of how the good folks over at Mindfully.org posted it.

Oath Keepers Asked to Leave Property While Standing Guard at Recruiting Offices

The activists standing guard outside military recruiting centers in Tallahassee were almost forced off the property, Tuesday.
Ivan Chiplinsky served as an army ranger in the early 90's. Today he's fighting in a different way to protect fellow military.
"Our oath is that we swore was to support and defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic," he said.

Our Operation Protect the Protectors has been a phenomenal success nationwide, with many Oath Keepers in every state answering the call, and we have seen other groups and individuals also step up, in true American spirit, to do likewise. The response from the recruiters, from the local police, and the local communities has been overwhelmingly positive. They are grateful and touched by our willingness to take a stand in defense of our current serving military who are not being allowed to arm up in self defense even after the horrific terrorist attack in Chattanooga, TN. By doing so, we are making long overdue connections in our local community that will pay important dividends as we work hard to get our communities better prepared for whatever is to come.
However, there has been a bit of confusion since the DOD memo(s) have come out directing the recruiters to call the local police when armed citizens show up to stand guard, and also some confusion because Army and Marine public affairs officers have issued statements “requesting” that citizens not post guard at recruiting centers and reserve centers. Some have taken that to mean we can no longer guard recruiters, or that the recruiters no longer want us there. Both beliefs are in error.
We WILL continue to guard recruiting and reserve centers.

Tallahassee, FL - Armed civilians stood guard outside of Tallahassee's two Armed Services Recruiting Centers Monday. It comes in response to the shooting earlier this month in Chattanooga that left five servicemen dead.
"It's ludacris that these guys are not able to be armed", says retired military member, Peter Ribaudo.
That's the message a group that calls themselves the Oath Keepers was trying to get across.
"Yes, it's to protect the guys, our brothers, fellow military. I'm allowed to have a gun, I'm allowed to have a voice. They're not allowed to have either one. In fact, they have to just shuffle out, and I can't imagine being in their spot", says Leon Oath Keeper Chapter Leader, Ivan Chiplinsky.
The Oath Keepers say because the recruiters must be unarmed, they are virtually sitting ducks,something Florida law-makers have acknowledged.
Despite Florida Governor, Rick Scott, moving all recruiting operations in to the armories for safety reasons shortly after the Chattanooga Shooting, for leadership at the Henry Mulhearn National Guard Armory in Tallahassee, they say everything is running business-as-usual.
However at the recruiting centers, it was not business-as-usual. The doors remained locked, aside from the occasional serviceman coming in and out. The Oath Keepers say, they will be there as long as they're needed, to protect those men and women.
"We have a vested duty to be responsible for our own security and the security of our neighbors", continues Chiplinsky.
The Oath Keepers say they are all current and former members of the U.S. military with Concealed Weapons Permits. Their firearms were not visible at Monday's event.

Are you being watched by the Federal Bureau of Investigation because of your concerns about an overbearing government?
The answer should be obvious given the nature of America’s budding surveillance state and a new video shows just how far law enforcement officials are willing to go to protect the Homeland from anyone who engages in the dissemination of ideas that are counter to the official narrative.

When the elites wage war on America, this is how they will do it.
In September 2009, more than 4,000 police and National Guard troops locked down Pittsburgh for the Group of 20 summit. Only one route was open for travel.
The consequences and patterns of war, whether by one nation against another or by a government against the citizenry, rarely change. However, the methods of war have evolved vastly in modern times. Wars by elites against populations are often so subtle that many people might not even recognize that they are under attack until it is too late. Whenever I examine the conceptions of “potential war” between individuals and oligarchy, invariably some hard-headed person cries out: “What do you mean ‘when?’ We are at war right now!” In this case, I am not talking about the subtle brand of war. I am not talking about the information war, the propaganda war, the economic war, the psychological war or the biological war. I am talking about outright warfare, and anyone who thinks we have already reached that point has no clue what real war looks like.
The recent exposure of the nationwide Jade Helm 15 exercise has made many people suspicious, and with good reason. Federal crisis exercises have a strange historical tendency to suddenly coincide with very real crisis events. We may know very little about Jade Helm beyond government admissions, claims and misdirections. But at the very least, we know what “JADE” is an acronym for: Joint Assistance for Deployment and Execution, a program designed to create action and deployment plans using computer models meant to speed up reaction times for military planners during a “crisis scenario.” It is linked with another program called ACOA (Adaptive Course of Action), the basis of which is essentially the use of past mission successes and computer models to plan future missions. Both are products of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
